Catherine Drabkin

Catherine Drabkin received her BFA from the Maryland Institute/College of Art and her MFA from Queens College CUNY.  She has had many group and solo exhibitions both in the USA and abroad.  Her exhibition venues include:  The Attleboro Museum, the Ohr-O'keefe Museum of Art, The Arlington Arts Center, Colby College Museum of Art, The Eleanor O. White Museum, The National Academy of Design and Kraushaar Galleries in New York where she has been represented since 1995.  Her reviews and articles have appeared in "Art in America," "The New York Observer," "American Artist: Watercolor Magazine;" and her work is featured on the cover of "Flying at Night: Poems 1965-1985," by poet laureate Ted Kooser.  Fellowships include the MacDowell Colony, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and the Chateau Rochefort-en-Terre.  Public collections include The Getty Trust, Washington University and Amtrak.  She has taught at Dartmouth College and is a founding faculty member of the Delaware College of Art and Design.
